One’s and Two’s Occupational Therapy practice was established in 2010 by Christine Tracey, to help children who have toileting difficulties. Using a unique combination of the science and art of dealing with young human personalities, Christine is affectionately known as the ‘Personal Trainer for Poos and Wee’s’.

Whatever the reason for toileting challenges, medical, behavioural or otherwise - Christine can help.

We’re a little different to other occupational therapists and use a combination of ways to physically manage the issues, alongside providing unique tools and techniques to empower children and their parents to use strategies, to manage behaviour and achieve great outcomes.

Is your child struggling with:

  • Constipation and soiling?

  • Toilet training?

  • Bed wetting?

  • Daytime Wetting/Urgency issues?

It might be time to enlist our help.

We have a simple 3 step approach:

  1. Reach out: Review the One’s and Two’s website detailing how we can help your child

  2. Connect: Book your appointments online or reach out to us for support in arranging this

  3. Action: Start a tailored short program to solve your child’s toileting difficulty. (The average length of resolution is 6 weeks, with a 1-hour initial consultation followed by a few weekly 30-minute sessions)

Start to see real results, quickly – help in managing your child’s behaviour, coupled with physical methods to manage your child’s toileting issues. All from the comfort of your home thanks to telehealth.

How are we different from other Occupational Therapists?

Firstly, Christine specialises solely in toileting difficulties, which means she has seen and heard just about everything. She understands the challenges your family are facing and importantly, how to help you overcome them.

By combining physical methodologies with practical behaviour management strategies, you will learn how to combine the latest techniques to empower your child to cooperate with toilet regimes and to stay dry and clean. You will be provided with regular support and techniques to help your child on the road to independence.

We work exclusively via telehealth, so are lucky to work with clients all across Australia, and overseas as well. Distance is no barrier for support, and you no longer have to trek your child (and possibly other children!) to appointments, but instead can relax in the comfort of your own home, safe in the hands of our expert, Christine.

Christine Tracey – Founder and Occupational Therapist

An experienced Occupational Therapist, Christine’s roots lie in working with children in both hospitals and private practice. With a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy from the University of Queensland, Christine commenced her first private practice in 1997 in Brisbane. She started working exclusively with children who have toilet issues at One’s and Two’s Occupational Therapy practice in 2010, to fulfil a busy niche helping children and their families.

Christine’s gentle but straight-talking style and focus on empowering children, ensures she gains real results. Whilst children sometimes don’t listen to Mum and Dad, Christine offers a pragmatic support to encourage progress through providing tools, materials and age relevant advice.  Christine understands that toileting difficulties can also be hard (and exasperating) on the family and shows parents how to manage their own behaviour when dealing with their child’s toileting challenges and importantly shows them HOW to make positive changes. An inspiring, positive influence, Christine has a natural affinity with children and connects easily with them to transform their toileting challenges.
